Replacing Front Shock Absorbers

Model: Subaru Forester SG, MK 2 - Years 2002-2008

Loosen the wheel fixing bolts before lifting the vehicle, then raise it with a jack and secure it on appropriate axle stands; proceed to dismantle the shock absorber by loosening the fixing bolts at the wheel hub, removing the drop link, disconnecting the brake line clips, and then accessing the engine bay to dismantle the shock absorber mount from the strut. Remove the original shock absorber complete with spring and mount, then proceed in reverse for the installation of the adjustable shock absorber, securing it to the hub and the strut (secure the brake line with a clip).

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
