The replacement of the bulb on the Subaru Outback is done by opening the hood so that the rear part of the headlight can be accessed: here, there will be a connector that needs to be disconnected in order to remove the old bulb from its housing. Once the old bulb has been removed, the new one can be connected to its connector.
