How to remove the door panel on a Toyota Rav 4? Follow these steps for disassembly. Before starting, disconnect the battery terminals located in the boot. Start by using a trim removal tool to detach the plastic at the corner of the window (if present), then remove the cover of the handle/door release lever on the panel. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the fastening screws located in the plastic handle. Once all screws are removed, use the trim tool to unclip the window switch panel and all plastic clips securing the door. Remove the door panel by hand, disconnect any power connectors and release cable.
