Let's see how to remove the fuel pump float from a Toyota Celica. First, disconnect the battery cables, then fold down the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolts securing the metal cap: remove it from its housing and wrap the entire perimeter of the sheet metal with paper or an absorbent cloth. Then, using a socket wrench, unscrew the securing bolts on the sides. Finally, disconnect the power terminals and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump float.
