How to Replace the Headlight Bulb in a Toyota Tacoma

Model: Toyota Tacoma N270, N260, N250, N240, N220, MK 2 - Years 2005-2015

To replace the headlight bulb in a Toyota Tacoma, open the hood and locate the back of the affected headlight assembly. Access the rear of the headlight and turn the protective cap counterclockwise to remove it. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb by pressing the locking tab. Turn the bulb counterclockwise to release it from the bulb holder and pull it out. Insert the new bulb of the same type, avoiding touching the glass with your fingers. Lock the bulb in place by turning it clockwise, reconnect the electrical connector, and reinstall the protective cap. Turn on the headlights to verify proper operation.
