How to Change the Engine Oil Filter in a Toyota Camry

To change the engine oil filter in a Toyota Camry, lift the front of the vehicle using a jack and place safety stands. Position a container under the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug to completely drain the used oil. Once the engine is empty, locate the oil filter at the bottom of the engine and use an oil filter wrench to unscrew it. Carefully remove the old filter and clean the mounting surface. Before installing the new filter, apply a small amount of clean oil to the gasket. Screw on the new filter by hand until it is snug. Finally, close the drain plug, add new oil through the upper fill neck, and check for leaks.
