Next, locate the oil filter, remove it with the appropriate tool, and clean the mounting area. Before installing the new filter, lightly oil the gasket with clean oil to ensure a proper seal. Then re-screw the filter, close the sump plug, and fill the engine with new oil through the top filler neck, respecting the specified quantity. Finally, start the engine, check for leaks, and verify the oil level, topping up if necessary.
