Toyota Prius - Video tutorial

Model: Toyota Prius MK 1 - Years 2004-2009
Part: Engine oil
Operation: Engine oil and oil filter replacement

Open the bonnet taking care to put it in safe conditions, remove the engine oil level check stick and unscrew the filler cap. Place a tray of suitable capacity under the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug (located on the side: the paper funnel will help to convey the oil into the tray); once the drain is complete, screw the cap back on. With a metal clamp wrench (or with the appropriate socket wrench) unscrew the oil filter and replace it with the new one after having covered the gasket with oil (it is sufficient to tighten it manually). Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the use and maintenance manual.
