Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Lift the car using appropriate jacks and secure it with suitable supports to prevent it from falling, allowing you to work safely. Place a plastic sheet and an oil collection tray under the engine. Unscrew the oil cap on the sump and let it drain. Using a ratchet spanner, gently unscrew the oil filter and remove it from its housing. Replace the used filter cartridge with a new one, and also replace the O-ring seal. Close the oil cap, reattach the oil filter, and top up with new oil. After a test drive, check the oil level again. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to designated collection centres. Reset the onboard computer for the new service.
