Replacement of Engine Oil and Oil Filter

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp90 - Years 2005-2011

Lift the vehicle and secure it. Using a spanner, gently unscrew the oil sump plug, allowing it to drain into a container. At the same time, open the oil filler cap on the engine to allow complete drainage. Using the appropriate tool, gently unscrew the oil filter by acting on the body and remove it from its housing. Empty the residual oil from the container and filter into a container. Clean the filter seat thoroughly with a cloth. Replace the rubber seal of the container. Replace the used cartridge with a new one of the same type. Refit the oil filter, ensuring it is screwed in correctly, and top up with new oil. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to the appropriate collection centres.
