Engine Oil Filter Replacement

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

Lift the vehicle using a hydraulic lift to gain easy access underneath: the oil filter is clearly visible and is located right next to the flange connecting the exhaust manifold to the silencer. To remove the filter, it is recommended to use a socket wrench, ensuring it fits perfectly on the base of the filter before unscrewing it, positioning a container to catch the oil. Once the filter is removed, clean its seat with a cloth and screw on the new filter after applying oil to the gasket. It is advisable to also change the engine oil when replacing the filter.
