Oil and Oil Filter Change on Toyota Corolla

Model: Toyota Corolla MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

Warm up the engine for a few minutes before changing the oil. Lift the car and position a container under the engine oil drain bolt, then loosen it with a 14 mm spanner and collect the used lubricant. Use the specific oil filter tool shown in this video to unscrew the old filter while the oil drains into the container. Replace it by inserting and tightening the new filter. Once all the oil has drained, re-tighten the bolt that seals the drain hole and measure the amount of lubricant that has come out. Now refill the same amount through the upper hole.
