How to Change the Oil and Oil Filter in a Toyota Corolla

Here are the steps on how to change the oil and oil filter in a Toyota Corolla. The steps are very simple and quite similar to other vehicles. First, lift the car onto ramps to access the underside. At this point, locate the oil sump and, after opening the cap, use a basin to collect the used oil. To aid the flow, as seen in the video, open the oil cap near the engine. Now, go back under the car and you will find the oil filter near the sump. Carefully remove it and replace it with a new filter and possibly a new gasket. Once the filter is changed, move to the sump where the thread must be cleaned to screw in the cap and the surrounding area. Replace the cap with a new one and finally, you can proceed to add new oil and you're done!
