Today's DIY steps will show you how to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Toyota Corolla VVT-I. First, lift the vehicle and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge located next to the sump, using the appropriate tool, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new oil filter and finally pour in the suitable oil, filling up to the maximum level mark.
