In this short tutorial, let's see how to replace the battery (CR2016) of the remote control of a Toyota Highlander, model produced from 2014 to 2019. to change the battery we must first open the key, to do so, insert a flat screwdriver in the appropriate slot placed on the eyelet of the key ring and gently rotate the screwdriver to separate the two halves. Once this is done, remove the internal push-button panel of the key and repeat the operation with the screwdriver performed previously to also open the push-button panel, where inside we can find the old battery to be replaced.
