In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the cigarette lighter socket in a Toyota Corolla, a very simple operation. Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety.

Start by removing the cup holder support located in front of the handbrake lever, then disengage the central console frame using a plastic spatula. Once the entire block is removed, unlock the retaining clips of the cigarette lighter socket panel, pull it out from the dashboard, and disconnect the rear connectors.

At this point, you can replace the socket or the entire panel, depending on your needs.
