How to Reset a Car's Immobiliser

In this video, we will see how to reset a car's immobiliser: remember that the immobiliser is an electronic anti-theft device that prevents the engine from starting if it does not recognise the correct key; if the light flashes or stays on, it indicates a key recognition problem. Ensure the remote battery is charged and check the fuses related to the security system. In the video, we demonstrate the reset system for three different vehicles. For a Honda Civic, turn on the ignition and observe the light, which should turn on and off within a few seconds: switch off and on 4 times in total. On the fourth cycle, the engine should start. For the Ford F-150, turn on the ignition and wait 10 minutes. Switch off and repeat twice. On the third attempt, the engine will start. For the Ford Ranger, turn on the ignition, switch off and on 8 times: on the ninth time, leave it in ON and wait for the light to go off. Alternatively, disconnect the battery, turn on the headlights, and honk the horn to discharge residual energy, wait 10 minutes, and then reconnect the battery.
