Replacing the Fuel Pump

Let's see how to replace the fuel pump mounted in the car's tank. Disconnect the battery terminals, then remove the rear seat cushions (or the cover in the boot). Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present), remove it from its seat, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Disconnect the fuel supply connectors and the return hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from inside the car's tank. Install the new pump in the tank with all the necessary components.
