This type of belt replacement is the same for all scooters. The belt should be replaced already at 15,000 km. Buy a new original belt. The belt has a direction to be positioned (ANTI-CLOCKWISE) follow the arrows that indicate how to position it. Before disassembling the Carter you must disassemble the air filter; help yourself with a Phillips screwdriver to remove all the screws. Clean the air filter with a little petrol, making sure it is corrosive. Remove the screws from the crankcase with an 8 socket wrench. Now with the help of the compressor gun and a 19 sleeve unscrew the nut. Do not remove the oil pan. Unscrew the oil cap. Now you can remove the internal components and fit the belt starting with the clutch and then into the variator. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
