Can the start & stop system damage some car components?

The Start & Stop system is now installed in all vehicles, but can it damage the car over time? Or at least some of its components? The answer is yes, as it certainly stresses the battery, starter motor, and alternator. There is definitely fuel savings, estimated at around 8-10%, and it also reduces emissions. However, while it is true that you save on fuel, it is also true that over time you will spend on replacing the stressed components. For starters, the battery in vehicles with start & stop is a gel type and costs nearly double that of a standard battery. The starter motor is also reinforced (rated for about 3,500 cycles) and costs significantly more than a standard one.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
