The vehicle shown in the video is a Volkswagen Golf 6, but the work procedures are identical to those required for a Volkswagen Golf 5. To remove the dashboard, start by removing the fuse box located at the end of it, then the glove compartment, the instrument cluster, the centre console with the air conditioning controls, and the steering wheel.

Finally, proceed to remove the trims from the two front A-pillars, the windscreen area, the perimeter plastic trims of the dashboard, and conclude by unscrewing all the perimeter locking pins present, in order to free it and extract it from the cabin.
