How to remove the door panel to replace the window control panel on a Volkswagen Golf 6 series? This video explains how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly work, let's disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. With a lever or screwdriver we go to leverage the lower part of the handle on the door panel, then, we detach the piece as in the video and begin to unscrew the locking pins of the door with a screwdriver. With the plastic lever we release all the clips by levering around the entire perimeter of the door. Finally, we pull the panel away by grabbing it with our hands, (we unhook the cable of the opening lever, the clamps of the window lifters and the speakers). We remove the window control panel from the door panel, reassemble the new piece and proceed with the assembly of the door following the previous steps.
