How to disassemble the EGR valve in the Volkswagen Golf?

In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the EGR valve in the Volkswagen Golf, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then open the hood and remove the upper plastic cover. Next, locate the valve in question, disconnect the large manifold by releasing the metal clip with a flat-head screwdriver and, using a 5mm hex key, unscrew the three fixing bolts. At this point, we can remove the valve, place the replacement and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
