Volkswagen Polo - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 4, MK 4, Polo IV, 9N, MK IV - Years 2001-2009
Part: Headlight bulb
Operation: Changing the headlight bulbs of a Volkswagen Polo

Do you want to change the headlight bulbs of a Volkswagen Polo? Let's see how to proceed in the video guide. We open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard, let's put it in safety. Once you have found the inspection cap of the headlight (located in the rear part of the headlight), remove it. Once we have reached this point, we will find the bulbs with metal or plastic hooks (depending on the bulb to be changed), take out the lamp holders from the lighthouse and go to extract the damaged bulb with the help of a screwdriver. We mount the new bulb and (always suitable type and size) we insert the lamp holder in the lighthouse housing. Finally we close the headlight with the inspection cap and re-attach the liquid filler pipe. We test the correct functioning of the lights.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
