Replacing the engine air filter is a very simple maintenance task that ensures the correct amount of air is drawn into the engine, benefiting both performance and fuel consumption. Once you open the front bonnet, you will find the air filter container (Air Box) directly above the engine, which is a square-shaped box. You need to remove all the fixing screws around the edge of the cover, then detach the filter box from its seat to move it slightly forward, making it easier to remove the cover. At this point, extract the old filter, remove any dirt residue, and insert the new filter, ensuring the seal fits perfectly along the edge. Finally, reassemble the cover and reposition the filter box in its seat.
