How do you deactivate the alarm of the Volkswagen Passat?

To deactivate the anti-theft alarm of the Volkswagen Passat, it will be necessary to turn on the instrument panel, so that it is possible to access the menu that will appear on the onboard computer: you will need to scroll through the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel, selecting the "Settings" option and immediately after the "Convenience" option. The first option that will appear will be "ATA confirm" with a checkmark: by clicking the OK button on the right side, it will be possible to uncheck the checkmark. In this way, it will be possible to notice that the alarm is deactivated and can be reactivated by putting the checkmark back.
