Where is the MAP sensor located and what is its purpose on the Volkswagen Golf VII TDI?

In this video, we see the position of the turbocharger pressure sensor (or MAP sensor) inside the engine compartment of the Volkswagen Golf VII: we remove the cover of the engine block, and the sensor is located on the right side in relation to the pistons, on the intake manifold, electrically connected to the ECU. Its function is to measure the pressure in the intake manifold, helping the ECU to regulate the amount of fuel and air for optimal combustion. It provides data to the ECU to adjust the turbocharger geometry and wastegate valve, avoiding overpressure and performance drops. It helps to reduce fuel consumption, maintaining the correct air/fuel ratio. If the sensor detects abnormal pressures, the ECU can activate the emergency mode to protect the engine.

How to change the time on a Toyota Yaris

We go to the multifunction screen and press "settings": from there we go to press the clock, simply click on daylight saving time, and the clock will change the time for us, without doing anything else.
