How to replace the diesel filter on a Volkswagen Golf 7? In this guide, we will see how to proceed: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the soundproofing panel from the engine, then, using a socket or screwdriver, remove the securing bolts of the metal clamp on the ventilation pipe. Remove the securing bolt of the container that holds the diesel filter. Extract the worn filter and insert a new one. Finally, reassemble the filter and the associated parts.
