Removing a Front Headlamp on a Volkswagen Up

Let's see how to remove a front headlamp on a Volkswagen Up. Open the bonnet (pull the bonnet release lever) and secure it; unscrew the securing pins on the headlamp bar with a socket or battery-powered drill. At this point, you will find additional pins at the bottom of the headlamp: unscrew them from the metal plates (unscrew the pins at the bottom of the wheel arch liner). Disconnect the bulb holders from the headlamp and extract it from the vehicle body. Install the new headlamp with new bulbs if damaged (always ensure they are the correct type and size) and insert the headlamp into its housing. Finally, tighten the headlamp pins with the socket. Test the correct operation of the lights after installation.
