Volkswagen Up - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Up MK 1 - Years 2011-2024
Part: Headlight
Operation: Removing a headlight on Volkswagen Up

Let's see how to remove a headlight on Volkswagen Up. We open the bonnet (by pulling the bonnet opening lever) and put it in safety; we unscrew the locking pins on the headlight bar with a socket wrench or cordless screwdriver. At this point we will find other pins in the lower part of the lighthouse: unscrew them from the metal plates (unscrew the pins in the lower part of the stone guard). We detach the lamp holders from the headlight and extract the same from the car body. We assemble the new headlight with the new bulbs if damaged and (always suitable type and size) we insert the headlight in its housing. Finally we tighten the pins of the lighthouse with the socket wrench. We test the correct functioning of the lights at the end of assembly.

How do you replace the horn on the Citroà «n Berlingo?

In order to replace the horn on the Citroà «n Berlingo, the vehicle must be raised so that the screws that secure the left front wheel can be loosened and removed completely. Once this wheel has been removed, it will be possible to access the screws that secure the internal cover of the corresponding wheel arch: this will have to be detached and it will be possible to access the components inside, including the horn. This will need to be disconnected from its connector and removed from its holders, so that it can be replaced with a new spare part.
