Replacing the Cabin Air Filter in a Volkswagen Polo

To replace the pollen filter in the cabin of a Volkswagen Polo, ensure the car is securely parked on a flat surface. Locate the filter housing, which is found behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. To remove the filter, take off the cover by sliding the two clips (as shown in the images) and pulling the cover away from its position. At this point, extract the air filter from its seat (along with a frame that helps position it correctly and prevents deformation) and replace it with a new one. Reassemble everything by reversing the steps shown in the images.
