Replacing the Front Headlight on a VW Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Here’s how to remove the front headlight on a VW Polo. Open the engine bay by pulling the bonnet release lever and secure it. Unscrew the securing pins above the headlight with a socket or battery-powered screwdriver. Disconnect the power connectors and remove the headlight from the vehicle body. Fit the new headlight with new bulbs if damaged (always of the correct type and size) and insert the headlight into its housing. Finally, tighten the headlight pins with the socket at the top of the unit. Test the correct operation of the lights located inside the headlight.
