Replacing Air Conditioning Compressor on VW Jetta

Is the air conditioning compressor not working anymore? Here's how to remove it on a VW Jetta. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet securely, locate the power battery and disconnect the terminals. Raise the car with a column lift, remove the compressor belt. Unscrew all the securing bolts of the air conditioning compressor. Once disassembly is complete, extract it from the engine bay. Insert the new compressor into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts. Reconnect the power terminals.
