Removing the Rear Light on VW Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Remove the rear light from the Volkswagen Polo if damaged or if you need to replace the bulbs inside. Open and lift the boot of the car, and remove the cover at the back of the light (boot side). Unscrew the securing screws of the rear light; once the light is free from any obstruction, detach it from the bodywork (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace any damaged bulbs with identical size and voltage pieces. Refit the light and reverse the assembly process. Test the correct operation of the lights: enter the cabin and switch on the control lights.
