How to remove the front door panel of a VW Jetta? Let's see how to detach it from the door. Use a trim tool to pry the plastic covering of the handle on the door panel: detach the plastic and remove it, then take out the window switch panel.

Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screws located in the handle and in the release lever area (internal handle). With the plastic trim tool, unclip all the clips around the perimeter of the door.

Pull the panel away using your hands, disconnecting the opening lever cable and any electrical cables. Fit the new door panel with the screws and handle covers.
