In this video tutorial we will see how to remove the throttle body on a Volkswagen Golf 1.4 Petrol, fourth series; this procedure can also be applied to the Polo 1.4. First of all we open the bonnet of our car and we go to unscrew the upper screws of the engine guard; then we disconnect the air filter box tube and also disconnect its sleeve, unscrewing the clamp screw. At this point, after removing the air filter box, we access the throttle body; we remove the throttle cable and disconnect the electrical connector. We just have to unscrew the fixing screws to remove it!
