Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

In this guide, you will find the instructions that will allow you to remove the roof position sensor on a Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, also known as the Maggiolone. This sensor is located on the guide of the roof itself, where the power cables for the sensor pass; depending on the height of your roof, the guide will open or close, sending values to the control unit. To replace the sensor, simply disconnect the electrical connector to remove it, so you can fit the new one; then check its operation.
