Removing the Air Conditioning Control Unit on Volkswagen Golf Mk5

In this video, you will learn how to remove the air conditioning control unit and the radio from a Volkswagen Golf Mk5, following these simple instructions. First, get inside the vehicle and remove the upper dashboard cover by unscrewing the screws; then, lever the sides of the plastic trim to remove it, along with the air vents. At this point, unscrew the screws of the radio located underneath to remove it; then disconnect the electrical connectors. Now you can unscrew the screws of the air conditioning unit, disconnecting the electrical cables to remove it completely!
