Oil and Oil Filter Replacement on a Volkswagen Golf 7

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Engine oil

Lift the bonnet and unscrew the top cap of the oil compartment to aid air circulation. Raise the vehicle and secure it, then go underneath and unscrew the bolts securing the lower engine cover. Position a container under the oil sump and unscrew the 19 mm bolt that acts as the drain plug. While the oil drains into the container, unscrew the oil filter and replace it as shown in the video. Measure the amount of oil drained and tighten the drain plug, then fill the same amount through the upper fill hole.
