How to Remove the Gearbox from the Volkswagen Polo?
Model: Volkswagen Polo
Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R
- Years 2009-2017
To remove the gearbox from the Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. Once the bonnet is open, loosen the screws and disconnect the connectors that secure the gearbox from the top. Next, lift the car with a ramp and remove the front wheels along with the wheel arches. This will allow you to remove the lower mounting supports of the gearbox, which can then be extracted from the underside of the vehicle. After removal, you can replace it by installing all the previously removed parts.
