How to Remove the Gearbox from the Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

To remove the gearbox from the Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet to detach the cover from the top of the engine block: then unscrew the screws securing the air filter box and the battery, completely removing both components. Once these two parts are removed, unscrew the screws connecting the gearbox to the engine; next, unscrew the screws located at the bottom of the gearbox, completely removing it from its housing after disconnecting the various connectors.
