Replacing Brake Pads on Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

Using a suitable spanner as shown in the video, remove the wheel cover from its seat. Loosen the wheel bolts of the affected wheel, then lift the vehicle with a jack and place axle stands underneath. Finish unscrewing the aforementioned bolts and, using a suitable pliers, remove the large pin located on the brake caliper. Disconnect the connectors and unscrew the bolts of the brake caliper, allowing you to remove it. At this point, you can finally extract the pads from their seat and insert the new ones: take the opportunity to clean the disc.
