How to Clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor

In the following video, it is explained how to clean the MAF sensor, which is the instrument present in the engine that measures the intake air. The car in question is a Volkswagen Golf. First, you need to free the clamp that secures the sensor: use pliers. Second step: using a flathead screwdriver as a lever, disconnect the sensor connection. Third: remove the air filter box by unscrewing each screw that secures it with a star screwdriver. Fourth: remove the MAF sensor by unscrewing the two securing screws. Fifth: clean the sensor using an electrical component spray cleaner and a clean cloth.
