Today we will see how to remove the thermostat on a Volkswagen Golf 1.6 16 valve, fourth series. First of all we lift the car and remove the plastic bulkhead that we find under the engine, unscrewing all the fixing screws; after which we remove the coolant tube, disconnecting the clamp and letting all the liquid drain into a container. At this point we access the engine compartment to remove the fixing bolts of the thermostatic valve, using a ratchet wrench; Now let's remove the thermostat and replace it with the new one, as shown in the video!

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
