The upper wishbone of the front suspension in this vehicle has a rather unique geometry, consisting of two links that extend from the shock absorber mount to the hub support, which is also connected to the steering rack tie rod. The two ball joint ends of the links are secured with a pin that passes through a groove on the joint shaft, preventing accidental removal and securing them in a sort of clamp.

To disassemble them, a special tool is required that fits onto the clamp after removing the side nut, allowing for the extraction of the pin and the opening of the clamp to facilitate the removal of the joints.

In the absence of this tool, a few well-placed hammer blows can achieve roughly the same effect.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
