Replacement of the Camshaft Oil Seal

Before fitting the new camshaft oil seal, ensure there are no residues or dents in the aluminium seating that could compromise the seal's integrity. Lubricate the oil seal with clean oil and insert it into its seating until fully seated, using the appropriate tool and taking care not to deform it. Next, fit the toothed pulley, tightening the fastening pins with a torque wrench, align the timing marks, and install the timing belt (consider replacing the tensioner and idler if necessary).
