How to Replace the Clutch Pump on a Volkswagen Passat

To replace the clutch pump on a Volkswagen Passat, open the bonnet to access the engine bay and remove some obstructing parts. These include the air filter box and the battery: first, disconnect the hose attached to the air filter box and loosen the securing bolts. Behind the box, you will find the battery, which must be freed from the terminals connected to it and the appropriate bolts. Once the battery is removed, you can access the clutch pump, which can then be replaced with a new one.
