Front Bumper Removal Instructions

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

To remove the front bumper, open the bonnet and start by removing the central trim, which includes the chrome part and the plastic grille attached to the front grille: then remove the fastening screws along the bonnet closure line and those just below the trim, where the air intake grille of the bumper begins; to facilitate removal, it is preferable to lift the vehicle to gain easier access to the screws along the lower edge of the bumper and those inside the wheel arches; two more screws are located in the central section, beneath the previously removed trim. At this point, unclip the bumper from the sides and pull it forward, disconnecting the side indicator bulbs.
