The procedure to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Touran involves holding down the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while it is off: continue to hold this button, then insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. This will bring up a confirmation message, where you need to select "Yes" using the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel; this way, the Service light will be reset and the instrument cluster can be turned off.
