How to Replace the Cabin Filter

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009
Part: Cabin air filter

It is advisable to periodically check and replace the cabin air filter to avoid allergies and bad odours. The filter is located behind the glove compartment in front of the passenger, as you can see in the video, it is somewhat hidden.
To open the filter compartment, slide the clips to the end of the cover, then you can remove the filter, which may contain all sorts of dirt (from simple dust to dry leaves).
Now you can proceed with the replacement with a new panel, close the filter compartment, and the job is complete.

The instructions in the video are valid for the fourth series Volkswagen Polo and other similar vehicles.
