Resetting the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

After changing the engine oil on the Volkswagen Golf, you need to reset the system that alerts you to the need for this maintenance operation. Sit in the driver's seat, press and hold the button marked "0.0" located at the centre bottom of the two circular dials. Turn the ignition key to switch on the instrument panel and release the button, then press again and release immediately. Turn off the ignition and repeat the previous steps. Check the display in the centre of the dashboard, within the "service" menu, to confirm the reset.
